Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't the card security code stored along with my saved credit card?
The 3 or 4 digit card security code onj the back of your credit card (also known as the CVV2 or CSC code) is a security feature credit card companies employ to help deter fraudulent purchases.
As a part of industry-standard security practices, and in some cases, credit card providers' policies, we cannot store this code in our database.
If you are an account-holding customer, and use our "Stored Credit Cards" feature (in the "My Account" area), you'll notice that we do not ask for the CVV2 code when creating a new stored card. When you make a purchase with a stored credit card, you will be prompted to enter the CVV2 code each time.
We realize that it's a little more work on your end, but given the extra security if offers, we hope you'll understand.
