How do I know if my order has been received and processed?

We have received your order once you have received a thank you notice which displays a confirming order ID number. You should receive this page once you have clicked on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the Online Order Form.

Orders received prior to 12 noon EST Monday through Friday are processed that day. Orders received after that time are generally processed the following business day. Once an order has shipped, we send a confirmation email which includes a UPS or USPS tracking number for that order. If we receive an order for an item that is temporarily out of stock, we will send an email notification within the next three business days regarding the status of the backorder.

Why has my new tool been opened?

New tools may arrive in a box that has been previously opened. We record the serial numbers of each tool for warranty purposes and for your protection should one of your tools be stolen. If the serial number is not clearly marked on the box, we do open it.

We currently have 9 retail stores from which we distribute and also sell merchandise. When Toolsforless sells the last of a product out of the store, sometimes this product has been on display. Our display items are not used and remain in brand new condition.
