At Toolsforless.com, we understand how important it is that your packages arrive promptly. Below, you will find answers to common questions about our shipping policies and rates.
Moments after you place your order, you'll receive an "on screen" confirmation displaying your order number and our thanks. Almost all orders are processed within one business day. If we receive it in our system before 12 noon Eastern Standard Time, we typically will process and ship the same day. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you within 1-2 business days. Whether you decide to leave the item on order with us or cancel will be your option. While we begin to process orders for shipment each business day of the week, please note that some orders may take up to 24 hours for us to ship after we have received your order. If your order consists of a number of items and you request that we ship the order complete, it is possible that shipment could be delayed by an unexpected stock outage. We can always send your order in a split shipment, and we will never charge more shipping than what you authorized on your order form, unless you make a special request to expedite after choosing a non-expedited method on you order form.
In order to expedite your order we may need to change the carrier or method of delivery. While we try to stock every item we sell on the website, there are some items that run out of stock or we do not stock yet. In these cases, if we can have the items shipped directly from the manufacturer, this greatly speeds up our ability to deliver the item quickly. However, most manufacturers only offer UPS services. If you prefer that we do not make any changes, please specify "No changes to ship details" in the special shipping instructions. This may add 10 to 15 business days delay to your order being shipped
Toolsforless.com only ships to addresses within the 50 United States. We can ship to overseas military "APO" and "FPO" addresses via USPS only. Toolsforless ships to no other international destinations, nor to any US territories at this time. Our international customers use freight forwarding services to place their orders on our site using domestic destinations with U.S. based credit cards. International customers wishing to use freight forwarding without a U.S. based credit card need to contact customerservice@toolsforless.com to arrange for payment with a wire transfer, check or money order.
We ship by UPS (United Parcel Service) and USPS (United States Postal Service). Both carriers offer you a wide variety of shipping methods which are presented during checkout. Or you can view options and rates by adding items to your cart and viewing the content of your cart where we have a link to view shipping rates before checkout. Please note that individual items weighing over 70 lbs cannot be shipped via USPS, and UPS cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
We are proud to offer our customers all of the UPS and USPS shipping methods available for the destination address. UPS options may include Ground, Next Day Air, Second Day Air or Third Day Select. All boxes should be checked for damage or missing parts, especially those that look like they've been opened and re-sealed. Occasionally, we'll open a box to add packing. Some boxes travel well on factory skids, but don't do well shipping individually. Occasionally, we'll add tape if we think the factory tape looks inadequate. We offer an extra service by recording the serial number, date, and customer name for each tool we sell. This information is only available to our customers and can be helpful to determine if a tool is still within its warranty period or to identify if a particular tool has been stolen. Most suppliers record and display this information on their packaging, but if it'snot there, we open the box and record the number from the tool directly.
