Does Toolsforless.com offer a warranty?

Toolsforless.com supports any and all warranties offered by the manufacturer. Toolsforless.com is an authorized repair center for most of the tools we sell.

How long are the warranties?

Most of our vendors issue a one year manufacturer limited warranty which covers parts and labor. Here is a listing of the manufacturers with one year warranties: Bosch, DeWalt, Porter Cable, Hitachi, Makita, Milwaukee, Skil, Drill Doctor. Dremel offers a 5 year warranty on their corded line of tools and a 2 year warranty on their line of cordless tools and contour sanders. Dremel warranty repairs are available by sending your tool to Dremel directly. How do I know if my tool is covered under warranty?

Authorized service centers are trained to determine whether damage or defects are covered under warranty. We are unable to determine the nature of tool problems over the phone or via email. If you are concerned that your tool may not be covered under the manufacturer warranty, we would recommend contacting the nearest authorized service center directly for technical assistance.

Do reconditioned tools come with any warranty?

Factory Reconditioned power tools offer a great low-priced alternative to brand new models. At Toolsforless, you’ll receive a full one-year factory warranty on your refurbished cordless, electric or pneumatic tool.

How do I send a warranty repair to Toolsforless.com?

Toolsforless.com is partnered with New England Tool Repair which is an authorized warranty repair facility for the following tools: Bosch, Delta, DeWalt, Fein, Hitachi, Makita, Milwaukee, Panasonic, Porter Cable, Rol-Air, Skil. If you have purchased one of these tools from us within the warranty period:

1. Please email warranty@toolsforless.com with the following:

    A. Use the following subject for your email: Warranty RMA request.
    B. Please include your name, email address & 8 digit order number.
    C. Please indicate which tool model # you are requesting to have warranty repaired and please provide a detailed account of
         the problem with your tool.
    D. Please indicate the serial number on the tool.

2. We will reply your email with a confirmation which indicates a return authorization number.

3. Box your tool with packing material and address to:

    A. New England Tool Repair 122 Warren Avenue Second Floor Portland, Maine 04103
    B. Please be sure to mark your package with the RMA# you received from Toolsforless.com.

4. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks and transit time for your tool. We will issue a final confirmation for your records.
